Deacon Curt Leuenberger

Ordained May 15, 2009, Incardinated – Archdiocese of Anchorage-Juneau, Alaska. After managing a successful electronics business for many years, and as a lifelong Catholic, Curt felt a calling to serve God in a more meaningful way. With a feeling of being called to the deaconate, Curt went through five years of studies and formal formation before being ordained a Catholic deacon on May 15, 2009. Curt currently serves at St. Michael’s Parish in Palmer and Holy Family Parish in Glennallen. Outside of the parish ministries, Curt also serves in prison ministry as a chaplain at the Palmer Correctional Center. As a deacon, Curt has performed numerous baptisms, presided over and witnessed numerous marriages and has presided over numerous funerals.
